Entitled to WHAT?

Weekend Observations on Entitlement:

Yesterday I accompanied my family to a Tacoma Rainiers game.  On the drive to the venue, at the ball park and on a small jaunt to the makeup store we encountered no less than 7 instances where a group of people or an individual expressed an unwavering sense of entitlement with total disregard to their surrounding environment.
In case you have not observed this particular species in its natural environment, let me take a moment to describe their unique characteristics:

1.  This person or group of people may be seen wandering aimlessly through any parking lot; either on their cell phone or bluetooth talking extremly loud as if they are stone deaf.  CAUTION:  They will walk in front of your car without notice, not thank you for stopping, and continue on their way as if you dont exist.

2.  This person or group of people may also be seen walking slowly weaving back and forth down a concourse at a sports venue, or be standing in front of you talking to their friends with their back to the game explaining to everybody that can hear them that they cant understand why they had to wait so long to get a beer; as if it was a personal affront to wait in line with all the common folk.

Hopefully you have not encountered these situations before.  I have on a regular basis, but it was not until this past weekend that I decided to write about it.  I  like to observe my surroundings with a sense of respect, wonder and politeness so much that I feel secretly ashamed that I am a part of a culture that does not regularly do these things.
There is a BIG difference between feeling a sense of reward or deservedness for ones accomplishments and being an unobservant D-Bag.

If you know anybody personally that exhibits this appaling behavior, tell them with love and kindness to shut up, or put their phone down and PAY ATTENTION!!!!
